Martin in a PeopleMaps Nutshell: Martin’s the one to go to if you’ve a problem to solve. He’s the one with all the answers you need.

Martin joined PeopleMaps full-time in May 2007. His main responsibility is to manage our IT projects and suppliers. He is also in charge of putting together the PeopleMaps IT Strategy. There’s no question that Martin has a lot to get through every day, but he is definitely up for the challenge. In addition to his IT responsibilities Martin is a key contributor to the design of our new products and services.

Martin’s first degree at Glasgow University was in Accountancy but it was after completing a Masters in Information Technology that he realised where he wanted to pursue his career. He then worked as an IT consultant which is where he first came into contact with PeopleMaps back in 2002. For the four years prior to PeopleMaps he worked for Norwich Union Insurance in a variety of IT roles, primarily in the Management Information Systems department.
