The profile is created from a self report questionnaire and the responses are measured or bi-polar scales. The combination of the scales leads to the creation of one of Jung’s types.

Human behaviour is at best probabilistic not deterministic however the combination of the scales produces a type and behaviour can be attributed to that particular type, as opposed to the behaviour of a different combination of scales. The expected behaviour can be identified although how they respond in reality may be different and this would be true of any psychometric profiling.
